“A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men”

Madi is a Kentucky Fried Kid, raised by Texans, now based in New York City. Her heart feels stretched across all three states. Whenever she needs to rediscover herself she puts palm-to-soil on a bluegrass hillside, and whenever she needs to reconnect she flies to Texas to hug the family dog.

For several years, she survived day jobs in the fashion industry. She still dreams of London, where she completed summer studies at the London College of Fashion (including design at Central Saint Martins) and later interned at a fashion PR firm. One Editor-In-Chief in NYC had Madi run 2 miles barefoot through Nolita on a hot summer day to grab a salad — even though Sweetgreen was around the corner from the office. She has more stories.

Madi loves to devour scripts and characters. She also reads books of all genres, writes in many forms, finds meditation in movement, and experiments with design. She strongly dislikes cooking.
